The first holiday season 3-d’er that’s a bit on the dark side
Jack Frost (Chris Pine) teams with a tattooed-Russian accented Santa (Alec Baldwin), the Tooth Fairy (Isla Fisher), the Easter Bunny (a very funny Hugh Jackman) and a silent Sandman to defeat the nightmare king, Boogeyman (delish delivered by a Voldermort-looking Jude Law).
The funniest thing in this film are the elves and they’re severely under-used. The little ones could get nightmares from the Boogeyman, who is out to stop children from believing in the mythical characters, who are the guardians of children everywhere.
His film needs more light (laughs) and less dark. The holidays are supposed to be fun.
