The All Request Workday Kickoff

Out today on DVD and Blu-ray is the critically acclaimed Rolling Stones documentary, Crossfire Hurricane.

The film includes substantial amounts of previously unreleased footage both on and off the stage.

Crossfire Hurricane premiered last year on HBO and features never before seen footage of the band spanning their 50-year career. The doc includes newly conducted interviews with past and present band members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Ron Wood, Bill Wyman, and Mick Taylor. Late co-founder Brian Jones is featured through archival interviews.

One last thing....R.I.P. Ray Manzarek of the Doors.   You were one of the best keyboardists in Rock.  I'm saddened that I never got to see you play.

Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters/Nirvana joined The Rolling Stones on stage at a show in California over the weekend for a version of "Bitch"

It seems every Rolling Stones show on their tour has special guests.   Unfortunately NO Texas dates on the tour.   But I keep hoping they'll announce one. I'll keep you updated.

This Saturday, HBO will air this years Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Highlights.   It'll air 8pm-10:50pm.

Things to look for...

Heart's induction by Chris Cornell(of Soundgarden).

Black Sabbath will make a cameo on CSI tonight at 9pm. They are going to unveil a new single "End of the Beginning".  Apparently Ted Danson's character on CSI goes to a Black Sabbath concert while trying to find a killer.  Danson's character goes back stage and interviews Black Sabbath.    Check out a preview video...

What do you know, I have something in common with Geezer Butler, I've watched CSI from the beginning.    My DVR is already set for tonight's episode.

And FYI, Black Sabbath's new album "13" comes out June 11th.

Black Sabbath has issued another three-minute featurette, titled "The Sabbath Sound," containing footage of the recording sessions for the band's new album, 13. The disc is due out on June 11th and is the first Sabbath set in 35 years to feature singer Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler all playing together.

Also, dont' forget Wednesday nights episode of CSI will feature Black Sabbath Music!
