Kate Upton, who was in that Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl commercial, is on the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue for the second year in a row. The magazine had planned to make the announcement tonight (February 11th) on the Late Show with David Letterman, as it has for several years, but after a fashion blogger spoiled those plans by breaking the news Friday, SI confirmed it via Twitter the same day, tweeting, "POLAR BARE: @KateUpton in Antarctica is your 2013 SI Swimsuit Cover Model!" along with the cover photo showing the buxom Upton wearing white bikini bottoms with an open white fur-trimmed jacket and nothing underneath it.
