While I was on vacation for the holidays, I tried some new beers.

Once stop I made, was to the No Label brewery tour in Katy.  It happens Saturdays at 1pm, and is dog friendly. 

That's one of the new beers I was able to try.. the Elda M Milk Stout.   Quite tasty.

I also stopped by the Bastrop Brewhouse in Bastrop. 

It's a HUGE location, but kinda hard to find.  It's down what looks like an alley, but once you get there, it's worth it.  You can sit inside or oustide overlooking the Colorado River.

They only had 4 different beers, but I enjoyed what I tried...their Honey Brown.

One other place I want to mention, is Grand Station Entertainment.

I had some family in town, and we went there to bowl a few games and play some of the other games.   One that we liked the most, was Lazer Frenzy.

If you remember the movie ENTRAPMENT, with Catherine Zeta-Jones, where she practices going through security lasers. Well...that's what Laser Frenzy is.  You try to maneuver through green laser lights.   I tried it a few times, but couldn't get through w/o hitting 2 lasers.   It's a lot of fun.  If you win the Slow Ride, I recommend you try it.
