I got to see the Weinermobile up close and personal. Cool Huh? I took most of the shots but that is me to the far right in the white shirt! There is a different angle below. Ain't I adorable? LOL! Back in January, it was decided that 2008 would be my year of change. Positive, productive life changes to improve myself and turn my life around for the better.
For the majority of my life, I have always been classified as the "husky" guy, "the big guy", let's be honest here, I'm overweight. I have listened to friends, family, and even strangers speak to me in silence with the looks they have given me all my life. Those looks of disapproval, unattractiveness, and downright judgement of me due to my extra weight. Well, that is about to change.
Now understand I realize it won't be a quick, sudden, unexpected transformation, it's not like I gained all this weight overnight either. It took time, carelessness, avoidance, poor habits, and leading a sedentary lifestyle. This week began a new journey, and it's a journey that I am not traveling alone. I chose Aerofit to be my support team, my venue for change, and my inspiration. Now before you begin to determine all kinds of negative stereotypes about a Fitness Place, let me assure you as direct as I possibly can that all of the negative images and thoughts you could imagine would be sorely out of place. Listen, I understand what it feels to receive the glances and looks you get, I know firsthand, and the only thing that is stopping you from changing your life is YOU. It will take time, effort, discipline, determination, and a solid commitment to do for you the best you can to change and improve your appearance, self esteem, and self image.
JOIN ME! Decide that today is the day you have decided to make a difference for yourself. Even if you aren't necessarily overweight, exercise provides exceptional benefits that you just can't ignore. Activity is what made us so relentless and gave us endurance as children.
Your body is a machine, treat it right, provide it with the right kind of fuel, and you will be amazed at the performance it can deliver for you.

SOUNDS IN SPACE

Growing up, for some reason since Space doesn't support Oxygen, I always assumed it was like a vacuum, no sound. I was wrong. We also thought Pluto was a planet too. :-)
I am not a real believer in UFO's (at least the little green men kind). Nor am I positive of other intelligent life elsewhere in the Universe because of my personal Faith and beliefs, but I do find this fascinating. While looking around on Space.com today, I heard audio of the Earth, or at least the sound we generate out into Space that other lifeforms could receive with the right equipment.
Listening and learning, I wondered if any of the other planets in our solar system did the same thing, and I discovered this very interesting video on YouTube. Before you assume it is fake, follow the links enclosed on the video, it is legitimate from NASA. Interesting stuff. They were right in saying we have lots of clutter (noise) out there. Who would have thought they would be right about other planets. Enjoy!
